I have slowly been re-doing the “last child out of the nest’s” room. It all started with the fabric you see on the pillows. Lavender, teal, chocolate and cream…
I have re-painted the walls in a two tone lavender, painted the floor in chocolate and stone, and painted the ceiling stone as well. I made new curtains in chocolate and cream, the pillows you see and the bedding is stone. I have yet to make the bed skirt, and am thinking a cow hide throw rug will be in the mix soon!
But…what I really wanted to show you is the piece of art done by a local Ferndale artist Rocky Johnson. I won this at the Women’s Professional Networking Gala http://wpnbellingham.org, and look how great it looks in this room!
Stay tuned as I continue to update this room.
